Our Mission: Our mission is to facilitate information exchange, advocacy, and collaboration among member organizations in their service to farmworkers with the goal of assisting those workers in identifying and overcoming barriers to their equal rights and respect in their places of employment as well as their communities. We envision that through advocacy and organizing, all farm workers will have equal rights and respect both in their places of employment and in their communities.

The Coalition provides direct legal representation to survivors of human trafficking and supports individuals seeking immigration relief, including:

  • Pro Se Asylum

  • Deferred Action

  • Employment Authorization

  • Continued Presence

  • T-Visas & other immigration relief

As part of the Immigrant Justice Initiative, we also offer Family Preparedness Services through one-on-one consultations and legal clinics, assisting with:

  • Designation of Parental Relationship Forms

  • Standby Guardianship Forms

  • Health Care Proxies

  • Power of Attorney

  • Travel Authorizations

  • Passport Applications for U.S.-Born Children

  • Pick-Up Authorization Forms

Our staff also assists with:

  • Legal advice and counsel with attorneys/DOJ-accredited representatives

  • Pro Se Motions to Change Venue (by referral only)

  • Change of Address filings

  • ICE Check-in Transfers

  • USCIS account creation & access

  • Legal referrals to partner organizations

We also offer Know Your Rights (KYR) education to empower workers with essential legal knowledge. Workshops available in multiple languages!

We work to ensure that farmworkers and migrant families have access to the vital resources they need to thrive. Our team provides direct referrals, guidance, and advocacy to help individuals navigate complex systems and connect with essential services, including:

  • School Districts: Assistance with school enrollment, language access services, and support programs for migrant children and youth.

  • Healthcare Centers: Connecting individuals to medical clinics, community health programs, and resources for affordable or free healthcare, including mental health and prenatal care.

  • Department of Labor: Providing information on worker rights, labor protections, wage theft prevention, and access to complaint mechanisms for workplace violations.

  • Public Benefits: Guidance on eligibility and application processes for programs such as SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, and other forms of government assistance.

  • Housing & Shelter Assistance: Helping individuals and families find emergency shelters, transitional housing, rental assistance programs, and tenant rights advocacy.

  • Food Pantries: Referrals to local food distribution centers, community meal programs, and nutrition assistance resources.

  • Other Essential Needs: Support in accessing childcare services, transportation assistance, language interpretation, and legal aid for various civil matters.

All our services are provided free of charge.
